The Client: Wytham Hall
Wytham Hall in North Westminster is a homeless charity specializing in supported Accommodation for homeless individuals. It provides support and accommodation to 25 people with a history of homelessness, including many long-term rough sleepers, with the aim of helping them transition to a more stable and independent life.
Pimlico Computers provide outsourced IT support and have been working on several projects to modernise their business practises and increase secuirty.

Job Specifics:
The client wanted to install CCTV throughout there 4 buildings to provide security and monitor activity from their main office.
The Challenges:

We knew from the outset this was a big project but having upgraded the internet and Wi-fi in the main office during an earlier project it made life easy when running cables for the CCTV cameras.

We had to take into consideration that the CCTV equipment especially the NVR's may be vulnerable at the three additional sites.
The Solutions:

After the initial survey of the four sites we were able to draw up a plan and time line for carrying out the installations.

One member of staff setup and configured the NVR's at the main office whilst the cabling engineer ran the cables and installed CCTV cameras and the lock boxes at the four sites.

The client was very pleased with the outcome of the project considering the logistical issues and they can now monitor all of the sites from their main office.
